If you are a follower of the blog, I appreciate it. As you have read, I started off my journey as a data scientist by first learning what it meant to be one in a classroom setting. I learned some very valuable skills of how to read, scrape, manipulate, and model data, along with countless amounts of other technical and soft skills. I wanted to share that after completing my last project for my Data Science class, I have learned adequate skills to start my professional path as a data scientist.

My project featured scraping, manipulating, and modeling data on NFL quarterbacks salaries and performance. All of this was developed into a Shiny Application, which please feel free to view and play around with to see what NFL quarterbacks should be getting paid in the inflated market. If you would like to see the machine learning techniques and how the application was made, feel free to check out my GitHub repository that contains all of the information.

As always, feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn or contact me via email and I would be happy to hear your thoughts about the application or any other advice you would like to share with an aspiring data scientist.
